Meridian 63, Hoquiam 21; Monte next in Quarters

Meridian beat Hoquiam tonight 63-21 in a game that wasn’t that close. The Griz had no quit in them but never really got anything going offensively. Defensively they were opportunistic to force 2 pick-sixes, but one came late in the game on a 4th-and-long. Next is Monte in the quarterfinals at Civic Saturday, 1PM.
