Corey Culp, one of handful of Trojans alums playing for the new Bellingham semipro football team, caught a touchdown pass for the Bulldogs over the weekend.
The Bellingham Bulldog semi-pro football team won its season opener 36-21 against the Columbia Basin Riverhawks on Saturday in Warden, near Moses Lake.
Quarterback Billy Hagee threw two touchdown passes, one to Corey Culp and the other to Jesh Morgan.

Andrei Lintz was named to the WashingtonPreps.com 1A First Team All-State Basketball team as a post.

We would be remiss without also mentioning that Andrei was named to the Herald’s first team All-County Basketball team as well.
What he did: Averaged a double-double and finished with one in 14 of the team’s 23 games … Finished with 16.1 points and 10.0 rebounds per game … Shot 56 percent from the field and 73 percent from the line … Was selected to the All-Northwest Conference first team and to play in the Washington State coaches’ All-State Game … Led Meridian to a 16-7 record… Won the 3-point shootout at the senior all-star game despite going 0-8 during the season … Committed to play football at Washington State next season.

From the Herald this morning:
Zach Slesk and Ricky Wiebe each had three hits Tuesday as the Meridian baseball team defeated Blaine 10-0 in a five-inning non-league game at Laurel.
Trojans pitcher Kyle Jackson allowed no hits and struck out four in three innings, and Meridian played error-free on defense.
